Club Championship

The Maribyrnong Park Bowls Club singles was played on Sunday in very un-comfortable conditions between Matthew Blom and Luke Fagan.

Early in the match Matthew held a commanding lead however it become obvious that Luke was starting to get a better feel of the green. With the match tightening up we were delighted to witness a terrific match with Matthew being the eventual winner after 28 ends and a score line of 25/22.

Matthew will now go on to represent MPBC in the Champion of Champions competition.
